USA Today has a table of 40 largest US hotel brands and whether they charge for Internet access. It’s still amazing to me that any hotel charges for this. People often say luxury hotels slap on the fee because hey their guests can afford it, but then why not also charge extra for the use of basic-cable TV, bathrooms, the A/C…? The Internet is a really, really fundamental service in the 21st century.

Because basic cable, bathrooms, and A/C don’t cut into porn revenue, would be my guess.
