Your Tumblarity goes up when likes, reblogs, etc. happen to things you post, and when you gain followers.

But here’s the catch: it goes back down a week later, when the points expire.

You don’t lose Tumblsauce in response to anything you do, as far as I can tell. So when you post something and lose 27 points right away it’s just a trick of the timing. It’s not because the Knights Tumblar have decreed that you fucked up.

In other words: relax; it’s just a stupid algorithm.
